As in the past few years, a youngster defeated the best players Columbia has to offer when Hudson Dubinski, a 16-year old junior to be at Rock Bridge, shot  a final round 71 ( 1-under) at The Club at Old Hawthorne.

He wrapped up the 3-day City Championship at 211, also 1-under par to claim the Rex Dillow Cup.

Mike Wilson used a hot start at A.L. Gustin on Friday to jump the competition in the Senior Division; and he closed the deal Sunday at Old Hawthorne, his home track, to win the Jim McKinney Cup for golfers between the ages of 50 and 65.

Don Steele won his second straight Super Senior title (for players over 65) with a birdie on #1, the first playoff hole against runner-up Bob Hutton.  The two tied at 220 (+8) for the 3-day tournament.
